HDMI Televisions
HDMI televisions is a combination of two of the latest technologies creating a mindboggling
movie experience. High-Definition Televisions with High-Definition Multimedia Interface gives you nothing but crisp
sound and life-like pictures, so real you can almost smell the Chanel perfume of a voluptuous woman.
But what is HDMI anyway? It stands for High-Definition Multimedia Interface. This technology was created by these
giant companies namely Hitachi, Matsushita Electric Industrial (National/Panasonic/Quasar), Philips, Silicon Image,
Sony, Thompson(RCA) and Toshiba. This digital interface comprises only a single cable unlike its predecessors
having two separate cables one for the audio and one for the video, this saves you from the fuss of untangling
wires. This cable also has four types of connectors for different components. Type A has nineteen pins and can
support all SDTV, EDTV and HDTVs. Type B has twenty-nine pins and has two times the bandwidth compared to type A,
which a high resolution display like WQUXGA only deserves. Type C is the same configuration as of type A with 19
pins and all but of smaller size. This is very nice for your portable devices. Type D is also the same as type A
and C having 19 pins but this time it is much smaller. Its connector resembles that of a micro-USB. Besides the
advantages of its physical features, HDMIs with its capability to transmit uncompressed digital data greatly
surpasses its analog predecessors. We all know the game “message relay” right? The key here is to deliver the
message unadulterated. But the fun part is that almost always some of the member adds or subtracts the message. Now
it is also the same with the other interfaces, the transmission undergoes several translations and every
translation lowers the quality of its content. With HDMI however it’s different; it transmits the very original
signal itself.
Now with HDTVs, it is a television having one or two million pixels per frame much bigger than its predecessors
giving you so-real pictures it’s almost like literally watching through a window. Actually the term high definition
was first used to describe those TVs in the 1930s which only has at least 240 definition lines. But it is nothing
compared to our HDTV right now giving you at least 600 definition lines(digital progressive system). Such power in
giving you the video experience you only deserve. However why is it that some people who have HDTVs complained of
having blurry, pixilated, distorted or too bright receptions? Much different than what they’ve seen before they
bought it. Well, there are three things you can do. First is its configuration, usually HDTVs are pre-set as bright
vivid picture which looks very nice in the store but if its brought at home it becomes too bright. You can solve
this by just adjusting it, there are several pre-set displays to choose from but if you want you can also do it
manually. The second one is choose the right program, the one with the high-definition broadcast-you can use HDTV
tuner. If you choose a standard definition broadcast or video players then there’s nothing more you can do about
it. The third is HDMI, the perfect partner for all HDTVs. With both of these you can enjoy a perfect movie
experience, HDMI television experience.
